(Ontario) THOROLD WIRELESS PILOT PROJECT SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED!
The City of Thorold council decided during an in-camera meeting last week to pull the plug on
a one-year pilot project with ReliaClear Canada Inc. to provide free wireless broadband Internet service to the
neighbourhood.
(Ontario) SIMCOE CELL TOWER
Attempts to have a cell phone transmitter removed from atop a water tower, after one resident in the neighbourhood becomes electrohypersensitive and other residents become ill. This has not yet been resolved.
(Ontario) RICHMOND HILL CELL TOWER
In Richmond Hill, residents are fighting a proposal to build a Rogers tower near Bathurst St. and Elgin Mills Rd. W. – across the road from an already approved Bell tower.
